METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed
METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the offer strategy for the Trade segment.
• Analyze Trade CTG customers’ Needs including Product, Quality and Packaging.
• Develop and introduce core assortment for each Trade CTG.
• Constantly monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to ensure METRO’s offerings stay relevant and ahead of the competition.
• Develop and implement category/product level pricing strategy for Trade that creates value for the customers and METRO.
• Continuously explore new opportunities for growth and innovation within the Trade market.
• Ensure that offers are effectively communicated to customers, ensuring visibility and driving engagement.

• Act as the key liaison between METRO Cross Functional Teams and external suppliers to ensure timely plan roll outs and stock availability.
• Regularly report on offer performance and make data-driven recommendations to adjust strategies and improve overall business outcomes within the Trade sector.

Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably Business Management with a specialization in Sales and / or Marketing or related subjects.

5-7 years’ experience in Sales Management Role.
