Description: Seeking an experienced IT professional to oversee the company’s IT infrastructure and networks, ensuring reliability, security and efficiency. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on expertise, managing network systems, cybersecurity and day-to-day IT operations. You’ll collaborate closely with management and teams to support business goals while driving continuous improvement across all IT functions
Timings: 12 noon to 9 pm
Tasks:
Infrastructure and operations
- Manage IT infrastructure by overseeing networks, servers and operating systems to ensure seamless functionality
- Ensure 100% uptime and implement proactive monitoring and upgrades
- Manage Google Workspace and collaboration tools for secure and smooth operations
- Manage CRMs, calling tools, online subscriptions of various platforms
- Maintain IT inventory and oversee repairs, including costing. Handle vendor negotiations, renewals and billing to secure the best value
- Manage equipment forecasts and budget for IT expenses for each financial year
Team leadership and management
- Lead, mentor and motivate the IT team to deliver reliable and policy-driven services
- Supervise the enforcement of IT standards/protocols and promote a culture of accountability and security in compliance with standards
- Supervise troubleshooting of issues by setting TATs for complaint closures and ensuring compliance with TATs
Cybersecurity and data protection
- Manage firewalls, VPNs and endpoint detection/response tools to ensure network security and reliability
- Stay updated on cybersecurity best practices to protect company data and assets
- Manage credential lifecycle, from creation to renewal, revocation and eventual destruction to ensure security, access control and data integrity throughout a credential's existence
- Develop and maintain IT security protocols and disaster recovery plans
Strategic planning and projects
- Provide IT insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Lead IT projects, ensuring timely implementation within scope and budget
- Develop IT policies, procedures and disaster recovery strategies aligned with business goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field
- Certification in cybersecurity and data security is a must!
- Proven 2 to 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and information security
- Hands-on knowledge of Google Workspace, endpoint security solutions and cloud-based environments
- Proven experience with ISO standards and IT compliance
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
