Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Engineer to oversee transport and fleet operations, with strong hands-on knowledge of mobilization and demobilization activities. The ideal candidate must have proven experience mobilizing vehicles and heavy equipment to ADNOC sites and managing day-to-day operations in full compliance with client, regulatory, and site-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute mobilization and demobilization of vehicles, drivers, operators, and heavy equipment across project sites.
- Coordinate fleet mobilization to Oil & Gas sites, ensuring all approvals, permits, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure drivers and operators are properly trained and competent, with valid site-specific training and certifications.
- Manage and verify third-party certificates for vehicles, equipment, cranes, and lifting accessories.
- Oversee approvals related to Civil Defence requirements, including diesel tankers, water tankers, and sewage tankers.
- Ensure full compliance with CICPA requirements for site access, vehicle registration, and manpower approvals.
- Monitor IVMS installation, compliance, reporting, and adherence to ADNOC requirements.
- Ensure drivers and operators have clear knowledge of red zone areas and restricted movements within ADNOC sites.
- Oversee daily transport operations, route planning, and deployment of fleet and manpower.
- Manage fleet availability, utilization, maintenance schedules, and breakdown coordination.
- Liaise with clients, site teams, HSE, HR, maintenance, and third-party agencies to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor operational performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements to reduce downtime and operational risk.
- Prepare and submit operational reports related to fleet status, mobilization progress, compliance, and site performance.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in transport or fleet operations, preferably in the UAE Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in mobilization and demobilization of fleet, drivers, and operators.
- Proven experience mobilizing vehicles, heavy equipment, and cranes to ADNOC sites.
- Strong knowledge of driver and operator training requirements and competency management.
- Practical understanding of third-party certification processes for vehicles, equipment, and cranes.
- Sound knowledge of Civil Defence approvals for fuel, water, and sewage tankers.
- Good working knowledge of CICPA processes and site access systems.
- Strong understanding of IVMS systems and compliance requirements.
- Clear understanding of ADNOC site rules, including red zone areas and movement restrictions.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities under tight timelines.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Operations, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements related to transport, heavy equipment, and Oil & Gas site operations.
