Senior Presales Engineer – ELV Systems

Job Summary:

The Senior Presales Engineer – ELV Systems is responsible for providing technical support to the sales team in designing and proposing ELV solutions for clients. The role involves understanding client requirements, preparing technical proposals, system designs, cost estimations, and ensuring the proposed solutions meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client requirements, tender documents, and project specifications for ELV systems.
  • Design and propose solutions for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Intercom, Public Address (PA), SMATV, Gate Barriers, and other ELV systems.
  • Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimations.
  • Develop system architecture diagrams, network layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain product specifications, quotations, and technical support.
  • Conduct site surveys and client meetings to understand project requirements.
  • Support the sales team during technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions with clients.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, industry standards, and project budgets.
  • Assist in tender submissions and technical bid documentation.
  • Provide handover documentation and technical clarification to the project execution team after project award.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in ELV systems design or presales engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, and integrated security systems.
  • Experience in preparing BOQ, cost estimation, and tender documentation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools for preparing system layouts.
  • Good understanding of IP networking related to ELV systems.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and client interaction skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with occasional site visits and client meetings.
  • May require coordination with multiple departments including sales, engineering, and project management teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
