Senior Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer (Fitout) with proven experience in handling interior and fitout works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and delivering projects to the highest quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all site activities related to fitout and interior works.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to project scope, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight any delays or issues.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and monitor site deliveries.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and project managers for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor site manpower, productivity, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards on site.
• Support project manager in preparing project schedules, cost control, and variations.
• Handle technical issues, resolve site-related challenges, and provide engineering solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fitout/interior contracting projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, MEP coordination, finishes, and material specifications.
• Familiar with project management tools, shop drawings, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
