Senior Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to achieve project milestones and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify project risks, delays, and cost impacts, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements in line with project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure strict adherence to QA/QC standards.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all project phases.
• Support project cost management activities, including monitoring budgets, verifying variations, and reviewing interim payment applications.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers, supervisors, and site teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection records, NCRs, RFIs, and correspondence.
• Actively participate in client, consultant, and coordination meetings, providing progress updates and technical inputs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10–12 years of proven experience in large-scale residential, commercial, high-rise, or infrastructure projects (GCC experience preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in civil works and good exposure to MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project), AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction methodologies, and local authority regulations.
• Valid GCC driving license is highly desirable
