About the Role
The
Senior Project Sales Engineer – DX/VRV
is based in Muscat, Oman and is responsible for driving project sales growth across the assigned territory by developing strong relationships with consultants, developers, and MEP contractors. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and securing projects while ensuring alignment with Daikin’s sales targets, pricing strategy, and margin expectations.
This position plays a critical role in the full project lifecycle, from enquiry generation and technical coordination to commercial negotiation and project closure, while working closely with internal teams to deliver competitive and compliant solutions. The role also contributes to market intelligence, customer engagement, and long-term business development within the Oman HVAC sector.
How You Will Make an Impact

Manage key accounts within the Oman territory, including consultants, developers, and contractors.

Achieve sales booking, invoicing, and margin targets in line with business objectives.

Generate new enquiries and develop new customers, including contractors and subcontractors.

Review enquiries and guide the application team in preparing competitive quotations and technical submittals.

Follow up on technical submittals to secure approvals from clients and consultants.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

Lead commercial negotiations, including contractual terms and conditions, to secure orders.

Coordinate with the service team to ensure effective after-sales support and customer satisfaction.

Follow up on project payments and ensure timely collection and cash flow realization.

Capture customer feedback and market requirements and share insights with internal teams (product, marketing, and management).

Maintain and update CRM regularly and prepare accurate sales reports for management review.
What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC Project Sales within Oman or GCC markets in multination environment.

Proven track record of securing projects and building strong relationships with consultants, master developers, and MEP contractors.

Strong understanding of contractual and commercial terms in project sales.

In-depth product knowledge of VRV/VRF systems and Airside solutions.

Familiarity with Oman market dynamics, specifications, and approval processes.

Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.

Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
