Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and food pairing recommendations
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in food handling and preparation
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with guests and team members
