Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Uphold the restaurant's policies regarding guest relations, service quality, and hospitality.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales revenue.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is an advantage but not required.
