Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine pairings, to answer guest questions confidently
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are consistently followed
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing and assisting with food presentation or preparation when needed
• Manage cash handling duties accurately while processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other cashiering tools

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills during busy service hours
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for billing accuracy and cash handling responsibilities
• Prior experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles preferred but not required
