Server's Assistant

Overview
Mira is looking for servers to join our team! Mira is a Mediterranean restaurant in the Elmwood Village. The menu highlights the cuisines of Italy, Spain, Greece and other countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. We have a strong focus on house made pastas, charcoal grilled meats & vegetables and a Mediterranean focused beverage program.

The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality. They need to be energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the goal to provide guests with a wonderful experience. Responsibilities

• Work with servers to create a seamless experience for guests
• Anticipate servers & guests needs and have guest recognition
• Have comprehension of the food menu
• Execute service with efficiency to create an overall positive guest experience
• Open to working in our private event space upstairs if needed
• Maintain a sense of urgency
• Stand for the entirety of scheduled shift
• Walk/move around the restaurant for the majority of scheduled shift

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is preferred
• Availability weeknights & weekend days/nights is preferred
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.35 per hour
