Site Engineer

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction/engineering projects
• At least 6 years of experience in design coordination and material selection, preferably in real estate projects
• Experience in Oman/GCC region is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on site-related matters
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents
• Ensure proper material selection, approval, and usage in accordance with project requirements
• Monitor work progress, quality, and productivity on site
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site challenges

Technical Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
• Experience in material submittals, approvals, and inspections
• Familiarity with local codes, standards, and authority requirements
• Ability to use engineering and reporting tools/software

Quality, Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and procedures
• Adhere to and support implementation of HSE policies on-site
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety standards

Communication & Reporting:

• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports
• Maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay: RO600.000 - RO800.000 per month
