Job Summary
The Site Engineer supports the delivery of infrastructure and facilities projects within a large-scale, complex operational environment. The role is responsible for site coordination, contractor supervision, and project execution, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Working closely with the Project Manager, contractors, and operational teams, the Site Engineer ensures effective coordination of site activities and compliance with operational and regulatory requirements within a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination & Project Execution

Support the Project Manager in delivering facilities and infrastructure projects.

Coordinate on-site activities with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.

Support the preparation and implementation of project execution plans and documentation.
Project Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Assist in preparing daily site reports and project performance updates.

Identify and escalate risks or delays to the project management team.

Support project close-out activities including inspections, testing, and handover.
Contractor & Compliance Management

Ensure contractors comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Coordinate permits to work, access requirements, and operational approvals required for project activities.

Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with project specifications.
Stakeholder Coordination

Maintain effective coordination between contractors, consultants, and operational teams.

Support communication between project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Project Management.
Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project delivery.

Experience working on facilities, infrastructure, or engineering projects within large-scale, complex operational environments.

Experience in infrastructure, mixed-use developments, or other operationally critical environments preferred.
