Overview
We’re looking for a Social First Creative Manager to join IO Digital’s growing creative team—someone who blends conceptual thinking with practical execution across digital and visual media. This role bridges the gap between strategy and execution, managing a team of content creators, graphic designers, and videographers to deliver standout work that meets business objectives while elevating brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Oversight & Execution

Lead the ideation, development, and delivery of integrated creative campaigns—from content calendars to short-form video, static designs, and branded storytelling.

Oversee the translation of creative briefs into impactful visuals, concepts, and narratives tailored to platform-specific requirements.

Maintain hands-on involvement in the creative process, particularly around key brand campaigns, social media storytelling, and visual content production.
Team & Project Management

Guide and mentor junior creatives, including Social Media Content Executives, Managers, designers, and copywriters.

Ensure timely execution of deliverables across all creative projects, maintaining quality, consistency, and alignment with client goals.

Coordinate across departments (Strategy, Client Services, Production, PR ) to deliver unified creative outputs.
Design Understanding & Direction

Review and refine design work to ensure visual quality and consistency across platforms.

Provide creative direction and feedback to design and motion teams, ensuring aesthetic alignment with brand identity and campaign goals.

Champion storytelling through design and guide the team in balancing creativity with functionality.
Client & Campaign Development

Work closely with Client Services to understand client vision, interpret briefs, and contribute meaningfully to strategic planning and campaign development.

Develop client-facing presentations that articulate creative strategy, concepts, and rationale with clarity and impact.

Participate in campaign pitches and internal reviews to elevate the creative product and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Platform Fluency & Innovation

Stay current with emerging content trends across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and more.

Guide the creation of multi-format assets (reels, carousels, animations, etc.) with relevance and innovation.

Push boundaries by experimenting with storytelling formats and creative approaches in a fast-evolving content landscape.
Qualifications

3-4 years of experience in creative roles, preferably within an agency setting.

A degree in Design, Marketing, Media Sciences, or a related field.

Strong understanding of design principles, storytelling, and social-first content strategy.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with a knack for motivating teams and managing multiple projects.
