Social Media and Marketing Specialist

Job Overview
Always A-Way Automotive is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Social Media & Marketing Specialist to execute daily digital marketing and social media activities that generate qualified leads and support vehicle sales growth.

This role is execution-focused and ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment. The Specialist will be responsible for producing high-volume automotive content, maintaining an active social presence, supporting paid advertising creative, and ensuring all social inquiries are properly routed to the BDC team.

Success in this role will be measured by consistent content production, engagement growth, lead contribution, and overall support of monthly sales goals.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Execute the dealership’s daily social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Marketplace.
  • Maintain consistent Always A-Way Automotive brand voice and visual standards across all platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement activity throughout the business day.
  • Route all sales opportunities and inquiries to the BDC team within the required response time.
  • Ensure all social media profiles remain current with active promotions, inventory highlights, and financing messaging.

Content Production

  • Produce regular vehicle walkaround videos and short-form social media content.
  • Capture high-quality inventory photos for marketing and Marketplace use.
  • Create basic promotional graphics using approved design tools.
  • Record customer testimonial content when opportunities are available.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team to feature priority and aging inventory.
  • Maintain and organize the dealership’s digital photo and video library.

Lead Generation Support

  • Develop content designed to drive pre-approvals, showroom traffic, trade-ins, and cash vehicle sales.
  • Ensure all posts include strong and clear calls to action.
  • Assist with Meta ad creative development when requested.
  • Refresh Facebook Marketplace vehicle listings on a regular basis to maintain visibility.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track key social media performance metrics including engagement, reach, and lead activity.
  • Provide regular performance updates to management.
  • Identify high-performing content and replicate successful formats.
  • Flag and improve underperforming content through testing and optimization.
  • Support initiatives to improve cost per lead and marketing efficiency.

Social Listening & Reputation Support

  • Monitor brand mentions, customer feedback, and online reviews across social platforms.
  • Escalate negative reviews or customer concerns to management promptly.
  • Support dealership review growth initiatives.
  • Ensure all public responses remain professional and brand compliant.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with BDC to ensure proper lead routing and follow-up alignment.
  • Partner with Sales to support priority inventory and promotions.
  • Support dealership marketing campaigns, sales events, and tent sales.
  • Assist with on-site content creation during special promotions when needed.
  • Ensure marketing efforts align with dealership sales and inventory goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for content creation.
  • Skilled in video editing tools for producing engaging multimedia content.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, web analytics (Google Analytics), and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience using social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of social listening techniques for reputation management and trend analysis.
  • Strong relationship management skills to engage with influencers, partners, and community members effectively.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality content delivery.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
