Social Media Content Creator Intern

JAB is seeking a Content and Media Intern to assist in capturing and creating daily content across our youth basketball programs. This role works directly with the Director of Operations and Brand to bring the JAB experience to life through social media, video, and storytelling.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about basketball, understands social media, and enjoys creating content in a fast-paced sports environment.

Responsibilities

Capture video content at practices, games, and events including player highlights, shooting clips, game action, and behind-the-scenes moments

Film content in vertical format for short-form platforms

Edit short-form videos for social media including reels and highlight clips

Add captions, trending audio, and simple text overlays to videos

Assist with creating of social media content calendar

Collaborate weekly on content ideas, player features, and campaigns

Help tell the story of players, teams, and the overall JAB experience

Stay up to date on social media trends and sports media content styles

Qualifications

Interest in basketball or sports media

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video content

Experience using mobile editing apps such as CapCut or similar tools

Comfortable filming in live gym environments

Creative, reliable, and self-motivated

Strong communication and willingness to learn

Time Commitment

Approximately 3 to 10 hours per week

Evenings and weekends based on practice and game schedules

Some travel opportunities may be available during summer tournaments
