Social Media Manager and Content Creator

We are a fast-growing, locally loved cupcake shop known for creative flavors, a fun atmosphere, and beautifully designed desserts. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to help us grow our online presence and turn followers into loyal customers.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across all social media platforms. This role focuses on brand growth, customer engagement, and showcasing our cupcakes in a visually irresistible way.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Photograph and film cupcakes, events, and behind-the-scenes content
• Create engaging Reels, TikToks, and short-form videos
• Write compelling captions that reflect our brand voice

Social Media Management

• Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest accounts
• Develop and execute monthly content calendars
• Schedule posts and maintain consistent posting frequency
• Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries

Growth & Engagement

• Grow followers organically through trends, hashtags, and collaborations
• Engage with local businesses and influencers
• Run giveaways and promotional campaigns
• Track analytics and report on performance metrics

Marketing Support

• Promote catering services, custom orders, and seasonal specials
• Support in-store events and launches
• Assist with email marketing content if needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts (food or retail preferred)
• Strong photography and video editing skills
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and short-form content
• Excellent written communication skills
• Organized, creative, and self-motivated
• Must love desserts
