Social Media & Video Creator

The position is at a local E-bike shop for rides in Zion National Park. It has grown into a great business and I have to say that I do love this job. My employees have really enjoyed it as well. It's a wonderful place when the staff is dialed in with the shop. We've had many great years in business and the start of this season we are looking at some new horizons opening up and I would love to have a creative individual come into the shop and help me create a new phase of the business.

I am looking at entering a category of social media that might be quite surprising. I would prefer to talk about it in the context of an interview. It's much easier to discuss the vision that way. It would entail long form video for YouTube, and then shorts for other social media platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Film and edit engaging videos and Shorts for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Help brainstorm and create content
• Post and schedule content, engage with followers, and track what resonates.
• (Not the primary duty) Assist with shop operations: prepping and checking out bikes, helping customers, and closing duties (charging, light cleaning).

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience filming and editing video (phone or camera — we value creativity over fancy gear). I do have some very nice gear already and am happy to invest more as we grow.
• Passion for social media and storytelling.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced retail/outdoor environment.
• Reliable, positive team player with flexible availability.
• Bonus: Any ebike or outdoor experience is great, but not required — we’ll train you on our fleet.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
