Position Overview

The Part-Time Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing social media efforts across Shady Brook Farm and Rose Bank Winery. This role oversees day-to-day channel management, content creation, social media calendars, and paid social advertising to support brand awareness, events, and revenue-driving initiatives.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple brands with distinct voices.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

  • Manage daily posting, monitoring, and engagement across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others as needed)
  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand manner.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice for both Shady Brook Farm and Rose Bank Winery
  • Interact and coordinate with outside content creators and influencers.

Content Creation

  • Capture and create high-quality photo and video content (reels, stories, posts)
  • Edit content for social platforms using tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar
  • Collaborate with internal teams on seasonal campaigns, events, and promotions

Content Planning & Calendar Management

  • Build and manage social media content calendars for both brands
  • Coordinate posts around events, promotions, holidays, and seasonal offerings
  • Ensure consistent posting cadence across channels

Social Media Advertising

  • Create, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns
  • Support event promotion, ticket sales, seasonal initiatives, and brand awareness
  • Track performance and make data-driven adjustments

Reporting & Optimization

  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach
  • Stay current on social media trends and platform updates

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience managing social media for a brand, business, or lifestyle venue
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook best practices
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager preferred)
  • Comfortable with content creation, including photography and short-form video
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in hospitality, events, lifestyle, food & beverage, or agriculture a plus

  • Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
  • Someone who loves experiences, community, and storytelling
  • Comfortable being on-site to capture content as needed
  • Weekend, holiday, and evening availability required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $20/hr
  • Bonus & Commission opportunities
  • 401(k) with employer match offered at 1 year of working average 20 hours a week

  • 15–25 hours/week
  • Evening and weekend work required, with extended hours during peak seasons.
