Sourcing/Costing Coordinator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Providence, RI for a Sourcing/Costing Coordinator. This candidate will be the liaison for our foreign partners and vendors to ensure that products are accurate, cost effective and timely.

Collaborate with internal teams and foreign vendor partners daily

• Provide continuous feedback to vendor partners and China team to ensure questions and concerns are clearly resolved
• Assist in selection process of new foreign vendor partners
• Continuous follow up on shipping and tracking to ensure products arrive in a timely manner
• Create and Maintain catalogs for all items developed
• Recognize issues with pricing which do not meet Company’s margin goals
• Responsible for checking in sample items received, ensuring their accuracy, gaining approval from Design team and entering items into system in a timely and accurate manner
• Responsible for completing Licensing documents pertaining samples
• Complete cost sheets for both presentations and final purchases for Finance Approval
• Order pre-approval/QC samples for all orders. Complete approval/QC turnover information to be entered into PO Web and communicated to the China Office and vendor partners

Keys to Success

Analytical, organized, diligent

• Clear communication skills and strong follow through skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel
• General knowledge of Photo Editor or similar editing programs
• A working knowledge of the Item Image Database and JD Edwards systems or the ability to learn
• Must be team oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work load
