Sr. Estimation Engineer

Job Description:
Experienced Senior Civil Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure works, particularly for Call-Off and maintenance projects with Q-Companies (QatarEnergy, QAFCO, QAFAC, etc.). Responsible for quantification, rate analysis, and cost evaluation to support the tender team in developing competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
• Prepare precise quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and infrastructure components.
• Develop cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontract works.
• Perform detailed rate analysis and pricing based on market conditions.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement departments for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Prepare cost summaries, estimation sheets, and internal evaluation reports.
• Ensure all estimates comply with Q-Company standards and specifications.
• Support the tender department by providing timely and accurate estimation data.
• Maintain updated cost databases and historical records for future reference.

Experience:
Over 10 years of professional experience in cost estimation and quantity analysis for civil, structural, and infrastructure projects across Qatar.
