The Division:
Kinetic Solutions
is a part of the Volaris operating group of Constellation Software Inc. It is a leading provider of comprehensive (ERP) software solutions for student accommodation, conference, and event management to Higher Education institutions, venues, and conference centers.
Headquartered in Milton Keynes, UK, with additional offices in Boston, U.S., and Auckland, New Zealand. More than 260 customers in the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, and Australia use different combinations of Kinetic student accommodation, conferencing, and hospitality products.

The Position
We are looking to hire strong Sr. SQA Analyst professional with expertise in manual and automation testing.

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Job Qualifications:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Hands on experience in developing automation test scripts, executing automation tests & analyzing test results.
  • Good in robust programming languages such as Typescript, and/or JavaScript.
  • Good familiarity using Playwright for automation and with other testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium with C#).
  • Working experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes.
  • Understand how to select HTML elements using distinct types of selectors, such as CSS selectors, XPath, and more.
  • Attentive to details, has a responsible attitude to the tasks assigned, fast learner.
  • Good practical knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent organizational skills – have the ability for timely decision-making, problem-solving, and execution of a number of complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Demonstrate a willingness for technical learning: researching new QA techniques; self-development of technical knowledge and skills to do with the job.
  • Maintains composure and a positive attitude, can handle stress, and doesn’t show frustration when resisted or blocked.
