Staffing Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking an organized, forward-thinking Nursing Staffing Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize all nursing staff shift coverage in conjunction with resident census and mandated guidelines
• Review staff time off requests to ensure adequate shift coverage
• Minimize staff agency/pool usage
• Post staff schedules 1 month in advance
• Coordinate with Director of Nursing to determine open staff positions per shift

Experience

• Previous experience with staff scheduling in a healthcare or nursing home environment
• Strong computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with staff scheduling software (i.e. VSS Pro, OnShift)

Pay: $23.00 per hour
