Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including tumbling, jump class, stretching, routine building and more!
• Maintain a safe environment by supervising children during all activities, ensuring proper behavior management and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or behavioral incidents in accordance with camp policies.
• Foster positive relationships with campers by encouraging teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship through effective classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan daily schedules, organize events, and ensure smooth operation of all camp programs.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns while maintaining confidentiality.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies to support diverse needs.
• Experience in sports coaching and/or childcare roles demonstrates your ability to lead engaging activities confidently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating flexibility and proactive problem-solving skills.
