About the Role:
Job Summary
The Leave & Accommodations Supervisor will play a vital leadership role by overseeing daily operations and supervising a team of leave professionals, including Leave Specialists and Clinical Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administration of all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, Company leaves and disability coordination with the third party administrator. The Supervisor will support team performance, ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, drive consistency, and promote a positive employee experience aligned with NGHS values and core competencies.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in leave administration, disability case management, or related HR function.

Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave laws and best practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day administration of all employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and NGHS-specific policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, STD, PWFA, Work Comp, LTD).
Ensure consistent, timely and accurate case handling across all leave types and effectively and efficiently resolve escalated and complex leave cases.
Serve as a point of escalation for employees, HR and business leaders addressing concerns related to leave administration or accommodations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Employee Health, and department managers to support seamless case coordination and employee return to work.
Work closely with the Clinical Specialist to align clinical review processes with operational timelines and compliance needs.
Monitor team workload, case volume, and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate adjudication of leave claims.
Track team metrics and case outcomes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and training opportunities.
Conduct weekly audits of leave cases to ensure adherence with standard operating procedures and compliance with FMLA, ADA and company policies.
