Supply Chain Coordinator

1. Order Management & Coordination

Receive purchase orders (POs) or requests from drilling contractors.

Verify specifications, quantities, delivery timelines, and compliance with contractual terms.

Coordinate internally with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to fulfill orders.

Maintain regular communication with the drilling contractor to update order status.

2. Vendor & Material Sourcing

Ensure availability of drilling materials, equipment, and spare parts from approved vendors.

Monitor lead times, prices, and quality of supplies.

Support procurement team in identifying alternative sources in case of shortages or urgent requests.

3. Logistics & Transportation

Arrange shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance (especially for international deliveries).

Coordinate local and offshore logistics (rig supply boats, trucks, air freight).

Track shipments and provide contractors with accurate ETA (estimated time of arrival).

Ensure compliance with ADNOC, Aramco, or other client-specific logistics regulations.

4. Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, delivery note, material test certificates).

Ensure compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) and QA/QC requirements.

Maintain records of deliveries, inspection reports, and contractor approvals.

5. Inventory & Warehouse Management

Monitor stock levels for critical spares and consumables used in drilling operations.

Coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages.

Manage consignment stock (if applicable) at contractor’s base or rig site.

6. Relationship & Communication

Act as the single point of contact between supplier and drilling contractor for supply chain issues.

Attend coordination meetings with contractor’s supply chain, logistics, and drilling operations teams.

Address complaints, delays, or quality issues promptly.

7. Performance & Reporting

Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, material rejection rate, and cost efficiency.

Provide regular reports to management and contractors on delivery status.

Contribute to continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
