Supply Chain Coordinator

Supply Chain Coordinator — Job Description

Role summary

Coordinate day-to-day supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery; support demand planning, supplier relationships, and continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses; perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Create and track purchase orders; follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and resolve delays.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams; schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Support demand planning by providing inventory data, lead time analysis, and order forecasts to planners.
  • Process receiving, returns, and warranty claims; oversee inspections and quality hold procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Manhattan).
  • Communicate order status and shipment exceptions to stakeholders (procurement, production, sales, customer service).
  • Analyze supplier performance (OTIF, lead times, fill rates) and assist in supplier improvement actions.
  • Assist with customs documentation and import/export compliance where applicable.
  • Implement and document standard operating procedures; participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required skills & experience

  • 1–3 years experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, or procurement.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication; cross-functional collaboration.
  • Basic analytical skills and comfort with KPIs and reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR74.29 - QAR150.21 per hour
