Supply Chain Specialist

Istanbul, Turkey

Turkish Nacelle Center is a joint venture between Collins Aerospace and Turkish Airlines Technic and was established in 2010, located in Sabiha Gökçen Airport/HABOM, Istanbul. The company offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services of thrust reverser and nacelle systems to commercial airlines both domestic and international. We at present require an experienced individual who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our EMEA customers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related departments from reputable universities
  • 5 years’ purchasing experience in aviation industry
  • Experience in logistics, import/export and customs processes
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably in SAP
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English is a must
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Able to work under time pressure and strict deadlines
  • Passionate about the quality of the work performed


Job Description:

Working within a product-focused business unit, Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for:


  • All aspects of procurement including the procurement of materials, parts and services
  • Provisioning of materials and parts based on business requirements
  • Ensuring that delivery dates support business and customer requirements
  • Following up the repair process of the contracted and subcontracted parts
  • Working closely with suppliers to develop relationships and manage performance
  • Compliance with all RTX policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and Global Trade requirements
