Team Leader – SME / SOHO Sales Telecom Sector

Doha, Qatar

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance

  • Lead and manage a team of SME/SOHO sales personnel across regions or channels.
  • Coach and develop team skills, manage scheduling, performance, and succession planning.
  • Foster a customer-focused, high-performance sales culture.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Formulate and implement sales strategies for acquiring and retaining SME/SOHO accounts (mobile, fixed broadband, fixed voice, and digital solutions).
  • Allocate resources effectively across territories/channels to maximize market coverage and year-on-year sales growth.
  • Drive new customer acquisition initiatives and ensure pipeline management with disciplined forecasting.

Stakeholder Management & Market Insight

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Finance, Channel Partners) to align sales efforts.
  • Share market and trade insights to support strategic planning and product development.

Operational Excellence & Innovation

  • Ensure high-quality sales delivery, manage customer complaints, and maintain standards for NPS and sales quality.
  • Develop internal tools and processes to evolve sales operations, especially for digital products and channels.
  • Identify innovation opportunities and promote them within the team.

Reporting & Performance Metrics

  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as net adds, voice points, solution uptake, accounts, churn, and NPS.
  • Provide regular updates—weekly, monthly, quarterly—to senior management, including insights and performance trends.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecom, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years in sales, with 2–5 years in mid-management or leadership roles.
  • Prior exposure to telecom, IT services, fixed broadband, fixed lines, and mobile solution sales.
  • Experience managing distributed or outsourced teams across multiple locations.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, people development, and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills for market insight, data-driven strategy, and forecasting.
  • Competence in stakeholder engagement and working within matrix structures.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
