Technical Assistance Analyst

The Ohio Department of Development is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join the Community Service Division's (CSD) Technical Assistance team. This position has a unique ability to be at the center of all CSD programs, both new and old. The goal of this team is to make sure all these important programs run smoothly in order to help Ohio communities be successful.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be the first point of contact for all offices within the Community Service Division for technical needs.

  • Work with respective offices to identify, understand, and confirm reported technical issues.

  • Independently create a plan to a resolution by engaging other department teams.

  • Develop detailed technical manuals for users on how to navigate technical systems.

  • Preform technical system test for programs in coordination with respective office teams to confirm issue resolution or new program functionality.

  • Assists in the implementation of research projects that would include but not limited to evaluating programs.

  • Assist in the development requests for proposals (RFP) acquire consulting or other services for program evaluations.

Qualifications
24 months training or 24 months experience in planning and conducting research studies using operational, mathematical, analytical and/or statistical research techniques and preparing reports, records and/or technical evaluations related to research conducted.

  • Or 12 months experience as Researcher 2, 66922.
