Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst

As a Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst, your role would be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of assigned MOTB technology projects to ensure projects are successfully completed and meet organizational requirements. You will manage a project’s scope, budget and schedule. You will engage stakeholders to define organizational problems and opportunities for improvement, determine organizational needs and identify solutions that provide desired organizational outcomes to support the strategy, mission and vision of MOTB. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and vendors to ensure processes align with organizational needs


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of various application admin tasks
  • Assist in managing Business Systems projects, including schedules, budgets, and communication with consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Workstations, Microsoft Office, and other Demonstrate industry best practices and how they would be delivered in the solution
  • Coordinates technical and system issues on Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
  • Assist in configuration, setup, and testing of POS for store and ticketing on registers and mobile devices. Working knowledge of POS functionality.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of MOTB data systems.
  • Aptitude for learning new software systems and support the continuous improvement of a CRM system and the ongoing customization requests
  • Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
  • Tracks and fully documents business processes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes
  • As needed, inclusion in official or incidental photographs and videos for MOTB and/or guests
Education/Qualifications/Skills Requirements:


Education:
  • Four-year college degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a technical project role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques
  • Must be able to work at and operate a computer terminal for 8 or more hours per day, along with the ability to lift 25 pounds

  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and Admissions.
  • Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements
  • Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a COTS/cloud-based application environment
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong MS Visio skills.
