We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in LV (Low Voltage) Switchgear and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, technical support, and customer relationship management within the electrical equipment industry.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the LV Switchgear and VFDs market segments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, consultants, and distributors to drive sales growth.
- Generate leads, prepare quotations, and negotiate contracts to meet sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address customer needs and requirements.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, including consulting on product specifications, application requirements, and system configurations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers, contractors, and internal sales teams.
- Offer pre-sales and post-sales support, including troubleshooting, commissioning assistance, and warranty claims resolution.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and market expansion.
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning to maximize market penetration and competitive advantage.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication, site visits, and participation in industry events.
- Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to customers, providing technical guidance, product recommendations, and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Additional business or sales qualifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or business development within the electrical equipment industry, with a focus on LV Switchgear and VFDs.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of LV Switchgear and VFDs applications, specifications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales activities.
