Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales & Service Engineer to support and expand our welding and cutting equipment portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both sales and technical service—particularly in welding technologies and CNC-based cutting systems. This role involves customer-facing technical support, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and driving business development efforts across the UAE and GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end sales and service support for welding and cutting machines including MIG, TIG, MMA, FCAW, plasma cutting, CNC/robotic welding, orbital welding, and oxy-fuel systems.
  • Conduct installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of equipment such as CNC plasma cutters, orbital welding systems, and gantry-type cutting machines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring machines meet operational standards and client expectations.
  • Deliver hands-on training to clients and field teams—both on-site and remotely—on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by generating leads, managing RFQs, and closing deals through technical and commercial negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, technical support, and consistent follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of client visits, service reports, and sales activities using Excel and internal CRM tools.
  • Support junior engineers during field service operations and complex installations.
  • Promote and support the sales of consumables and accessories, including laser/plasma CNC solutions and automation tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in welding equipment sales and technical service, ideally with a welding solutions provider or industrial equipment supplier.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on exposure to MIG, TIG, MMA, FCAW, CNC plasma/oxyfuel cutting systems, orbital welding, and welding automation.
  • Standards & Certifications: Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, and EN standards. Certifications such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A, WPS, or WPQ are highly desirable.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to develop leads, prepare quotations, manage customer accounts, and close technical sales.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues in electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools for reporting and client follow-ups.
  • Valid Driving License
