SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun Egypt is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Civil or Architecture Engineer to join our Decorative Projects team as a Technical Support Engineer.
In this role, you will supervise ongoing painting works on projects in Cairo and other remote locations to ensure the correct products are used and applied properly, in accordance with Jotun's technical data sheets and method statements, to achieve the desired performance.
This position is based at our head office in New Cairo and will report to the Technical Sales Support Manager—Decorative Projects Team.
Main responsibilities:
Regular visits to project sites to ensure paint is applied correctly and in full compliance with specified procedures and standards.
Conduct on-site assessments, inspections, and reports to confirm that all painting activities meet established specifications, including testing to ensure required quality levels.
Handling complaints through site inspections and tracking full investigation cycle with concerned stakeholders.
Work with the R&D team for troubleshooting and providing accurate technical recommendations; also support field trials for new products in coordination with Jotun’s laboratory.
Suggest appropriate painting procedures and products based on changing site needs, monitor paint usage, and report any deviations or shortages to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all painting tasks adhere to HSE regulations and safety protocols at the site.

Requirements we Look for:
Should be able to communicate in English and Arabic.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction sites.
