Technical Support & Estimation Engineer - Passive Fire

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimations, BOQs, and technical proposals for Passive Fire Protection systems and materials.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project scope to prepare accurate quotations.
• Provide technical support to sales and project teams during pre-sales and tendering stages.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and engineering teams to obtain competitive pricing and technical data.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material analysis for passive fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, project specifications, and local authority requirements.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization during bidding stages.
• Maintain documentation related to technical submissions, estimates, and project proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimation or technical support within the Passive Fire Protection / Fire & Safety industry.
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems such as fire rated doors, fire stopping, fireproofing, and fire-rated assemblies.
• Ability to analyze technical drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and fire safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
