Territory Sales Manager

Position Title: Territory Manager (FMCG – Food & Beverages)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and expand distribution networks within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure effective utilization of Mobile Order Booking System (MOBS), Distribution Network System (DNS), and Field Force Management System (FFMS) for sales operations.
  • Provide coaching, training, and motivation to the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, visibility, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
  • Plan trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store activations to drive sales.
  • Ensure timely resolution of distributor and trade-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, sales processes, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience: 4–6 years of proven experience in FMCG Food & Beverages sector (mandatory).
  • Age: 25–35 years.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of FMCG products and territory management.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and coaching skills.
  • Proficient in distribution handling and implementing sales initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic IT skills (MS Office).
  • Hands-on knowledge of MOBS, DNS, and FFMS.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Must have own conveyance (bike/car).
