TII - Events Specialist

Role Overview:

The Events Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing TII’s experiential engagement strategies across various events.


This position requires a seasoned events professional with a unique blend of strategic acumen, technical literacy and creative innovation , capable of translating complex scientific and engineering concepts into compelling, high-impact brand experiences.

The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in interpreting and analysing

technical and engineering drawings —particularly those related to exhibition stand

design and fabrication—and will demonstrate advanced understanding of next generation

experiential technologies (e.g., AR/VR, immersive displays, projection

mapping, AI-driven installations) to craft engaging, future-ready exhibition

environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Planning:

• Develop and execute integrated marketing and events strategies that

reinforce TII’s position as a global leader in advanced research and

innovation.

• Utilize market intelligence, data analytics, and competitive benchmarking to

identify opportunities for brand differentiation and strategic engagement.

Campaign Leadership

• Lead end-to-end development of high-impact marketing campaigns, ensuring

seamless execution across digital, print, and event channels.

• Manage external agencies and creative partners to deliver cohesive brand

narratives that reflect TII’s technological leadership.


Technical & Experiential Expertise

• Review, analyse, and provide input on engineering and technical drawings ,

schematics, and 3D renders for exhibition stands to ensure design feasibility,

functionality, and alignment with brand aesthetics.

• Collaborate closely with fabrication partners, architects, and technical teams

to ensure that stand designs meet both creative and structural requirements.

• Drive innovation through the integration of emerging experiential

technologies , such as extended reality (XR), AI-driven content, interactive

screens, holographic projection, and data-led storytelling tools to enhance

visitor engagement.

• Oversee content development for immersive experiences that effectively

communicate TII’s research breakthroughs and thought leadership.

Brand, Content & Creative Development

• Develop sophisticated, technically-informed content for exhibitions, events,

and digital channels, ensuring scientific accuracy and brand coherence.

• Supervise production of multimedia assets, including corporate videos,

interactive displays, and presentation materials, in collaboration with creative

and research teams.

• Maintain TII’s visual and narrative integrity across all touchpoints,

championing excellence in storytelling and design.


Event Planning & Execution:

• Lead the conceptualization, planning, and management of high-profile events,

exhibitions, and conferences in the UAE and internationally.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of event execution—from conceptual design and

vendor engagement to onsite coordination and post-event analysis.

• Ensure flawless delivery of exhibition stands and activations that reflect TII’s

innovation culture and global reputation.

• Represent TII at key industry events, cultivating strategic relationships with

partners, collaborators, and stakeholders.


Performance, Budget & Governance:

• Manage event budgets with precision, ensuring fiscal

responsibility and maximum return on investment.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators to assess campaign

effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

• Uphold institutional standards of compliance, brand governance, and

operational excellence in all marketing and event initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering,

Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in event management

within a high-technology, innovation, or research-driven organization.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering/technical drawings (AutoCAD,

SolidWorks, or equivalent) for exhibition and event applications.

• Strong working knowledge of experiential technologies and digital content

tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, Unity, AR/VR systems, motion

graphics).

• Proven success in managing complex, large-scale exhibitions or global events

from concept to completion.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional

collaboration skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail, creative vision, and a commitment to excellence in execution
