Trainee Staff Nurse

Job Title: Staff Nurse Trainee

The Staff Nurse Trainee is responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and medical staff. The role focuses on developing clinical skills, patient care techniques, and professional nursing practices while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing direct patient care under supervision
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and clinical conditions
• Administer medications and injections as directed by senior nurses or doctors
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation
• Educate patients and families on basic health care and post-treatment instructions
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards

Training & Learning Responsibilities:

• Participate in clinical training programs and orientation sessions
• Learn hospital procedures, nursing protocols, and use of medical equipment
• Observe and practice nursing techniques under supervision
• Attend workshops, seminars, and skill development sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM as applicable)
• Valid Nursing Council Registration (or in process)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,584.36 per month
