Transformer Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Transformer Production Manager to lead and manage the production operations of Distribution Transformers and Power Transformers. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in transformer manufacturing and possess strong technical, operational, and leadership capabilities. The candidate should be capable of managing complete production activities while ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and timely delivery.

Required Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / BSc Electrical Engineering)

Additional certifications in production management or quality systems will be an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in transformer manufacturing industry.

Strong practical experience in both:

Distribution Transformers

Power Transformers

Proven experience in managing production teams and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities for transformers.

Ensure achievement of production targets within quality and delivery timelines.

Monitor manufacturing processes including:

Core cutting and assembly

Coil winding

Tank fabrication

Active part assembly

Oil filling and testing

Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization.

Implement and maintain quality standards as per IEC/ISO standards.

Coordinate with design, quality control, testing, procurement, and maintenance departments.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturing procedures.

Monitor production efficiency and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshoot production-related technical issues and minimize downtime.

Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.

Lead, train, and motivate production staff and supervisors.
