Transformer Production Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and performance-oriented Transformer Production Manager to lead and oversee the complete production operations of Distribution Transformers and Power Transformers. The ideal candidate should possess extensive technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing transformer manufacturing operations efficiently. This role requires a professional capable of driving production excellence while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Sc. Electrical Engineering).
• Additional certifications in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Management Systems, or related fields will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the transformer manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in the production of both Distribution Transformers and Power Transformers.
• Proven experience in leading production teams and managing end-to-end manufacturing operations within a transformer manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all day-to-day production activities to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while meeting quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Supervise and monitor all major manufacturing processes, including:
• Core Cutting and Core Assembly
• Coil Winding
• Tank Fabrication
• Active Part Assembly
• Vacuum Drying, Oil Filling, and Final Assembly
• Routine and Pre-Dispatch Testing
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other production resources to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, ISO, and Company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate closely with the Design, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Testing, Maintenance, and Planning departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and promote adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production-related technical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational reliability.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, KPIs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead, mentor, train, and motivate production engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor staff to foster a high-performance work environment.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.
