Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the UAE and possess strong expertise in ticketing (portal-based), international visa processing, and using GDS systems (Amadeus and Galileo). Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
• Provide expert advice on travel itineraries, visa requirements, and destination options.
• Utilize GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo) to book and issue tickets, manage reservations, and handle customer inquiries.
• Process international visa applications and provide clients with the necessary information to meet visa requirements.
• Ensure all bookings are accurate and meet customer expectations for a smooth travel experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, pricing, and regulations.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and re-bookings as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, packages, and industry best practices to offer clients the best possible options.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant in the UAE.
• Proficiency in ticketing systems (Amadeus required, Galileo preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of international visa processes and requirements.
• Experience using GDS systems for booking and ticketing (Amadeus and Galileo).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of travel destinations and products, both domestically and internationally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• A passion for travel and customer satisfaction.
• Previous experience in a UAE-based travel agency.
