Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience, including Adult ICU and general care, for a night shift travel position at an academic medical center.

Details

• Inpatient hospital setting in an RRT unit at an academic medical center
• Adult ICU and general care patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Coverage for 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• On-call ability required

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• Adult ICU and general care experience required
• Active MO or Compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• BLS required
• Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required
• First-time travelers will be considered

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
• Pending licenses will not be accepted for consideration
