American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent critical care experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Florence, SC.

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday rotation required
-
Floating within scope is required, including to all areas of the hospital including labor and delivery
-
No floating to sister facilities

Charting via Epic
-
396-bed acute care hospital
-
Free parking on site

Minimum 2 years of experience required; recent critical care experience required

RRT credential required; CRTs will not be considered

Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at time of start
-
All AHA certifications required and must be in hand at time of start: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT)

First-time travelers will not be considered

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

SSN and driver's license required for consideration

License required if applicable

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date

Caribbean Blue scrubs required

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs

Candidates who have previously worked at any MUSC location as permanent staff or PRN must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane months are August and September
