Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of critical care experience for a night shift travel assignment at a hospital in Naples, FL.

Details

• Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an acute care hospital in Naples, FL
• Night shift: 7p–7a
• Alternating weekends required
• Floating between campuses may be required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• RRT credential required; CRT will also be considered
• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• License required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, blood gas analysis, and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Assists physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including arterial line insertion and intubations
• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatient and outpatient populations following approved protocols
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
