Role Overview
The Truck Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales operations for trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and other heavy commercial vehicles at Marhaba Auctions. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing a sales team, building client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth in the heavy vehicles segment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets for trucks and other heavy vehicles.
- Supervise and guide a team of sales executives, ensuring proper training and motivation.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure high standards of customer service.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and ensure consistent achievement.
Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet companies, logistics firms, construction contractors, and dealers.
- Negotiate sales contracts and finalize deals with key clients.
- Represent Marhaba Auctions in client meetings, events, and industry exhibitions.
- Ensure efficient after-sales follow-up and client retention strategies.
Auction & Operations Support
- Work with auction and yard teams to ensure proper vehicle presentation and documentation readiness.
- Provide input on pricing, market trends, and vehicle valuations.
- Coordinate with marketing to promote auctions and drive buyer interest in the heavy vehicles segment.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure maximum sales conversion at auctions.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and future sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in truck/heavy vehicle sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicle markets.
