UAE National - Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UAE National candidate with family book for the role of a Site Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities adhere to design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and local building codes. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor the progress of construction work against the project schedule and budget, identifying potential delays or issues and proposing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations, implementing necessary measures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents, providing guidance to site teams as required.
• Manage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of work.
• Oversee the quality control process, including material testing, workmanship inspection, and documentation of all quality-related activities.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming activities.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the project management team, design consultants, and site personnel.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, proposing practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure all civil works comply with relevant UAE building codes, municipal regulations, and international engineering standards.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and updates on site progress and issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection reports, and change orders.
