Upwork Bidder (Software Development)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder to join our growing software development agency. The ideal candidate should have proven experience generating leads and winning projects on Upwork, particularly for software development services.

If you have successfully managed company Upwork profiles, know how to build and grow fresh profiles, and possess excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and bid on relevant software development projects on Upwork.
• Write customized, high-converting proposals based on client requirements.
• Manage company Upwork profiles and maintain a high response rate.
• Develop strategies to generate consistent leads from both established and newly created Upwork profiles.
• Communicate professionally with international clients throughout the sales process.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to prepare project estimates and solutions.
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads into long-term clients.
• Maintain records of proposals, leads, and project status.
• Stay updated with Upwork policies, bidding strategies, and market trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum 01 year of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder.
• Previous experience working with a software development agency or freelance software development business.
• Demonstrated success managing company Upwork profiles.
• Experience working on fresh Upwork profiles and growing them into revenue-generating accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software development services, including web development, mobile app development, UI/UX design, eCommerce solutions, and custom software.
• Ability to understand technical project requirements and communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong negotiation, client handling, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Owning and actively managing a successful Upwork account is a strong advantage.
• Experience in closing high-value software development projects.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems.
