Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork
- Write compelling, customized proposals and cover letters to secure projects
- Communicate effectively with international clients to understand project requirements
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into clients
- Manage client conversations, negotiations, and follow-ups throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain and optimize the Upwork profile to improve visibility and conversion rates
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping and successful delivery
- Track bidding performance, conversion metrics, and revenue targets
- Stay updated with Upwork algorithms, proposal trends, and marketplace best practices
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Upwork bidding and freelance business development
- Strong proposal writing and client communication skills
- Excellent written English communication
- Experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and sales conversion
- Understanding of Upwork profile optimization and bidding strategies
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience selling digital services such as web development, design, marketing, animation, or software solutions
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
