About the Role:

Disrupt.com is not a typical startup. We are a venture-building company , operating at the intersection of brand, innovation, ecosystem orchestration, and thought leadership . Our Venture Growth Lead will not “hack early-stage traction” for one product—rather, you will grow the reputation, visibility, and influence of Disrupt.com itself as a global venture-building authority.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who has deep experience in VC firms, venture builders, accelerators, corporate innovation arms, or global ecosystem brands —someone who understands how to build credibility, audience, influence, and deal flow through narrative, events, content, founders, and community.

You will be responsible for driving the brand and growth engine of Disrupt.com through content, events, partnerships, founder storytelling, podcasts, editorial, and high-authority media exposure. You will build our audience flywheel , increase traffic to Disrupt.com, elevate our brand as a category leader, and design growth programs that attract founders, partners, investors, press, and talent.

This role blends brand strategy, ecosystem building, editorial judgement, digital growth, and event innovation —with a hands-on approach. If you’ve built or elevated a VC brand, accelerator brand, corporate venture program, or innovation lab: this role is for you.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand & Ecosystem Growth

  • Own the growth strategy for Disrupt.com as a venture-building brand , including narrative positioning, ecosystem engagement, and international reach.
  • Develop a founder-facing, investor-friendly, thought-leadership-driven brand identity through content and events.
  • Increase website traffic, engagement, and authority through multi-channel programs.

2. Editorial, Content & Storytelling

  • Build and run Disrupt.com’s content engine : blogs, newsletters, founder stories, VC insights, reports, trend pieces, playbooks, and video content.
  • Work closely with the Venture Builder leadership to translate our venture philosophy into high-impact editorial output .
  • Produce or coordinate podcasts, fireside chats, founder interviews , ecosystem spotlights, and case studies.

3. Events, Talks & Community Building

  • Conceptualize and execute Disrupt.com events , including:
  • Founder meetups
  • Demo-style showcases
  • VC roundtables
  • Talks, panels, and live interviews
  • Invite-only intimate executive sessions
  • Partner with top brands, universities, VCs, and accelerators to create high-visibility, high-credibility platforms .
  • Bring speakers, founders, and operators into our orbit, building a repeatable events calendar that becomes synonymous with quality.

4. Digital Growth & Traffic Acquisition

  • Own SEO/AEO , content distribution, social media strategy (LinkedIn-first, multi-platform approach), and partnerships.
  • Grow Disrupt.com’s digital presence through earned, owned, and paid channels.
  • Optimize funnels, landing pages, content journeys & subscriber loops to expand reach. retention.

5. Strategic Partnerships & Exposure

  • Build relationships with media, influencers, investors, ecosystem leaders , and corporate innovation stakeholders.
  • Secure Disrupt.com presence in conferences, summits, global stages, and founder-rich environments.
  • Drive high-quality inbound interest from founders, investors, and collaborators.

6. Insights, Analytics & Reporting

  • Define KPIs for audience growth, traffic, engagement, event performance, and brand reach.
  • Build dashboards and insight loops to continuously improve the content and events pipeline.
  • Report to leadership with clarity, precision, and actionable insights.



What You Need for This Role:

  • 9 –12 years in VC / Venture Builder / Accelerator / Corporate Innovation / PE / Corporate Brand roles or Brand/Growth roles for a B2B, SaaS, or ecosystem-centric company
  • Proven experience building or scaling a brand that relies on content, thought leadership, and events .
  • Track record of driving meaningful audience growth, PR presence, organic traffic, & event success .
  • Experience running founder-centric or ecosystem-centric programs (podcasts, reports, dinners, summits, launches).

Skills

  • Exceptional editorial judgement , curation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of VC language, founder psychology, dealflow dynamics & ecosystem
  • Hands-on capability in SEO, analytics, audience development, and content distribution .
  • Deep familiarity of modern brand-building mechanics : social amplification, partnerships, narrative design.
  • Able to operate end-to-end: strategy → execution → iteration.
