Job Purpose:
The Vice President – Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President – Mid Corporate, in developing and executing initiatives related to the growth, financing, and management of the Mid Corporate portfolio. The role includes managing the client relationship life cycle, delivering financial solutions, and ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the Mid Corporate department. This position supports the SVP in
growing the bank’s Mid Corporate market share, strengthening client relationships, and executing strategic projects and transactions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the SVP in setting clear goals and strategies for the Mid Corporate department to achieve growth targets and objectives.

Lead and mentor Relationship Managers, guiding them to achieve team objectives while enhancing their professional development.

Manage team performance by assigning tasks, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing feedback to optimize performance and development.

Coordinate closely with the SVP to implement the bank's overall strategy and ensure all initiatives align with departmental goals.

Provide strategic advice and feedback to the SVP, helping refine and adjust plans based on performance, market conditions, and client feedback.

Ensure team members are well-equipped through training programs and maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise.

Work closely with the SVP to expand the Mid Corporate banking portfolio, focusing on client acquisition, cross-selling, and revenue growth.

Assist in developing a structured client relationship management strategy, ensuring top-tier client satisfaction and service delivery.

Spearhead project financing initiatives for Mid Corporate, ensuring that all applications comply with internal and regulatory requirements.

Manage the portfolio of Mid Corporate clients by analysing their business needs and structuring financial solutions that meet those requirements while ensuring risk management and compliance.

Oversee the preparation of credit proposals and financing applications, ensuring they meet the standards set by the bank’s risk management framework.

Monitor financial performance of the Mid Corporate portfolio, working closely with the SVP to ensure revenue and growth targets are met while maintaining a controlled risk profile.

Support the SVP in developing strategic initiatives aimed at improving business processes, increasing operational efficiency, and enhancing the client experience.

Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders such as risk management, legal, and finance to manage the end-to-end transaction process.

Manage all documentation and due diligence processes for financial transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Proactively identify and report on early warning signs for any underperforming clients or at-risk transactions to the SVP.

Represent the department at internal and external meetings, building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders as a representative of the SVP.

Drive cross-selling initiatives by working with other business units within the bank to ensure that Mid Corporate clients have access to the full range of banking products and services.
