About The Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded Vice President of Marketing and Sales to lead FPI's go-to-market function across global and multi-regional markets. This is a senior executive role with full ownership of the marketing and sales strategy, revenue growth agenda, and commercial team performance. You will partner with the leadership team to shape how FPI competes, grows, and wins — and you will build the capabilities needed to sustain that growth over the long term.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Business Planning
- Lead the development and implementation of the organisation-wide marketing and sales strategy, integrating commercial priorities with FPI's broader corporate direction.
- Anticipate market megatrends, competitive shifts, and emerging opportunities to keep FPI ahead of the curve.
- Drive annual and multi-year business planning for the sales and commercial function, setting revenue targets, KPIs, and resource budgets.
Marketing and Sales Leadership
- Take full ownership of FPI's marketing strategy — brand positioning, market segmentation, campaign development, and customer engagement.
- Design and deliver the sales strategy across all product lines and geographies, ensuring a disciplined and high-performance commercial operation.
- Build and develop a personal network of senior decision-makers, specifiers, and industry influencers across the oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
- Represent FPI at major industry events, trade bodies, and client forums to promote the organisation and strengthen its market reputation.
Commercial Performance
- Set and manage the commercial function budget in alignment with organisational strategy.
- Manage, report on, and continuously improve the performance of the marketing and sales function against agreed KPIs and revenue objectives.
- Hold direct reports accountable for achieving their performance objectives; take timely corrective action where needed.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Identify and engage stakeholders up to board and top-management level, understanding their priorities and ensuring FPI's commercial strategy responds effectively.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on all commercial, market, and sales-related matters.
- Ensure that supporting functions — including Product Innovation and R&D, Services, Production, and Quality — elevate their performance to meet the standards expected in the oil and gas industry.
Capability Building
- Assess the current capabilities of the commercial team, identify gaps, and lead targeted development initiatives.
- Inspire, mentor, and coach the team to fulfil their potential and deliver extraordinary results.
